About | Brigitte Smith
Creative Director
Standing at 5 ft 6 in — a proud Iowa State Cyclone and CREATIVE DIRECTOR at Gameplan Creative — I play both offense and defense: setting the creative game plan while staying in the trenches to make sure the work delivers. I know when to call the big play, when to slow the game down, and how to keep projects moving on pace and on brand through every quarter. Comfortable leading teams, managing timelines, and adapting to shifting priorities, I bring strategy, creativity, and a steady hand under pressure. The goal is simple: move the ball forward, protect the brand, and consistently put strong work on the board.
That approach has carried across some of my favorite projects in sports and entertainment. At Gameplan, I have lead and designed the creative behind MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL’S digital ballpark experiences, overseeing full-stadium LED and scoreboard packages for All-Star Week and the Postseason.
I also helped rebrand SLAMBALL from the ground up, developed the visual identity for US Polo’s NATIONAL POLO CENTER, and created seasonal digital brand systems and a digital toolkit for the design and social media staff at PRINCETON ATHLETICS.
I’m also helping build the fictional soccer world of ARMADILLO UNITED, upcoming film for which I collaborated with producers Alan Jacobs and Elizabeth Avellán of Spy Kids on team identities, uniform systems, custom athletic apparel, and environmental graphics — shaping a cinematic sports brand from the ground up.
Through FOURSTAR BRANDING, I also support businesses with identity design, brand systems, marketing, digital, and environmental work.
I’m always up for a creative challenge. And when I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me schooling my kids on the basketball court or challenging them to a competition on the putting green.
